Although there are many health benefits in playing both Padel and Pickleball, it is important to be aware of the potential for injuries, particularly among older players, and to take precautions to minimize risks. It is imperative warm-up and cool down pre and post play. Its also important to wear appropriate footwear to suit the playing surface. The most common injuries amongst players are strain or overuse injuries which mainly occur in the shoulder or knee and develop over time.  Acute injuries may also occur like sprains e.g. pulled hamstring injury.
